I'm a land surveyor in the energy sector on a mobile survey crew that also 3D prints. Believe me I know, it still feels odd to me when I write that. So here is how we got here. I started surveying in 1997 in Fl right out of high school. Met my wife in 2003, got married in 2008. Along the way had 3 awesome kids, and right now have 4 amazing grand kids. I surveyed for local companies in Fl and NJ on and off until 2018. In 2018 I start working mobile. Mainly in the TX,OK, and KS areas. During the super fun winter of 2020 I spent a little time laid off. During that time my bonus son introduced me to 3d printing, and I instantly feel in love. What started as a hobby with 1 3d printer has blossomed into me being back on the road (pun intended) with 2 printers and my wife has 3 of her own and her own etsy shop back home. I also now have a TikTok channel with 43k followers and growing currently. I'm currently working on also building out a youtube channel where I do printer and printer related reviews. It truly has been a strange journey getting here but I wouldn't change a thing
